How Do You Repair Single Entrapment Sensed

My gate was operating normally nothing adversely happened that I am aware of. Now when the gate is activated the master side will move a few feet and stop and the slave side will not move at all. The LED flash code is "1 flash" during inspection of all wiring and components nothing is obviously noticed. After inspection was completed and wires moved and unplugged and plugged back in the gate worked for approx. 10 cycles without issues and then repeated the master side will move a few feet and stop and the slave side will not move at all. The manual states 1 flash is "single entrapment sense" and it is cleared by "Control Input". It does not provide any other details. What is control Input ??
