El25 Speaker Failure

I have had to replace the speaker two times in the last two years and would like to know if this is a commomn problem. I have lightning supressors and Ground fault circuit protectors on the system and have not had any trips/faults but the speacker failure seems to coincide with storms/lightning. Any sugesstions?
