Liftmaster 3900pld Has Really Short

I have really short range with any remote that I have ,I have two of these units and have the same issue with both of them.I have a metal building ,have turned off all the LED lights,Installed outside Antenna , unplugged my other garage door opener , I even went as far as wrap the door opener with a RF shield thinking I might be getting some kind of RF signal from somewhere . Both openers have the same issue some days I have to walk up to the door to get them to open with a remote , pulling my hair out really frustrating some days to say the least .

The remote control has short range:

R26; Check to be sure the antenna on the side or back

panel of operator extends fully downward.

R26; Some installations may have shorter range due to a

metal door, foil backed insulation, or metal siding.
