Have Replaced Ink Cartridge But No Type Appears On Paper.
Have replaced ink cartridge but no type appears on paper. How do I know if printer cartridge is installed correctly. Need to know if there is another issue.

There are 2 possible causes of your printer not printing properly. These are the following:
1. The Ribbon is Not Installed Correctly - Make sure that the printer ribbon is properly installed into the device. If you are not sure, you can read the user's manual here:

The print hammer that is hitting the daisy wheel is actuated by a plunger down below. The plunger has a rubber "cup" on the end of it that breaks of as it deteriorates. Fortunately, there's an adjusting bolt on the hammer assembly that can be adjusted out to compensate for the "gap" created by the missing rubber cup.
