Game Lags While Playing On Lenovo Y400

Hi there...I am having a problem with my laptop whenever i play games.... (Lenovo Y400)I recently have installed Resident evil 6 on my laptop... for a day or 2, it was working well without any lag... But after a while it started to lag and that include for other games too...i tried to reduce the image quality, however it doesnt works...the only time the game doesn't lag is when i'm charging my laptop while playing..please help me on.....

1. Adjust your laptop screen resolution.

2. Update the BIOS to the latest version.

3. Make sure your laptop meet the minimum requirements for the games you are playing.

4. Make sure you have close any other running application before you start your game.
