Lint In Tub After Several Tub Cleanings

Have dark black particles in clothing after washinghave now run 5 cleaning cycles with tub cleanser and there is still flaky lint residue in bottom of tub after each time have wiped it out and it appears each time after tub cleaningI cannnot see any filter compartment anywhere on body of machine and don't have the LG magic filter is it possible there is an internal filter that is clogged up ? Nothing in manual shows such and trouble shooting says to keep cleaning anyone have this problem before

Manual says to use DRAIN & SPIN cycle but there is no such cycle on this machine.
