Drum Banging Front Panel During Spin After Repair.

I just replaced both washer bearings in my LG WM3875HVCA front loader this past Saturday. After reassembling the unit, I did a test Rinse & Spin with a few towels. The load agitated fine with no issues. The issue started when it went into the spin cycle. The front of the drum started banging against the front inner panel. After research on line I determined the dampening shocks needed replacement. I replaced all three of them on Monday Did another test load. Same results, banging when it spins. What could be the cause of this? I am stumped.

The problem is corrected.. After reading the Service Manual and watching videos online, I determined the lower weight was installed backwards. Very easy to do, it will fit both ways. The top and bottom also have the exact same bolt holes. My suggestion which I didn't do is take pictures as you disassemble the unit. Everything is now working as it should.

Go here for other possibilities for causes on your spin issue. You seem to have exhausted the most likely causes but hopefully there is something else you may have overlooked.
