Lg Wm2688hwma Drum Light Stays On But Control Panel Is Inop

The washer is acting up lately. The control panel will not respond and the drum light stays on continually. If power is disconnected then repluged them machine will function somewhat normally it seems but when load is done, light will remain on again and panel is again inop. Is this a circuit board issue of some sort? I also noticed the "drum clean" option hasnt worked for a while now.
