I Just Bought A New Thermistor ,and Still The Error Code Shows Te ?

my lg washer error code shows TE , i just bought a new thermistor and still shows the TE error code.also i saw a video about how to do it.? The thermistor in the video shows the gentlemen removing the front panel , well my washer shows the thermistor located on the upper side ,i removed the top panel and it was easy .but it din't solve my problem the TE error code is still on,so this is problem

Unplug the washer. Check the wiring connections on the drum thermistor (temperature sensor). Measure the resistance using a volt/ohm meter. It should measure about 40,000 ohms at 85 degrees F. If your new thermistor is defective, replace it. Check the heating element for damage. If the heating element is defective, replace it.
