No 4g

my carrier is metro pcs and i've been going threw this with them for a while now its just getting tiring...they master reset my phone up to 4 times in the 3 days I went to the office to have them look at it...I pay for 4g with it never working...they told me to check all the apps I had installed because there was an app blocking the 4g connection from coming in..so due to my numerous trips to there office with them wanting to erase everything yet again on my phone they requested to replace only the phone its self keeping everything else the same..it worked before i left and a week or two after and stopped..I reset my phone myself instead of taking it up there this time (because normally when they reset it the 4g would come back with all other info being erased) but this time it didn't come back...is there anything else i can do on my end to fix this my self with out having to keep going threw my carrier...with my insurance and warranty still active and not expired you would think they would have replaced everything ...but some things are not covered i'm aware..just getting really frustrating paying for service your not getting
