There Is A Little Red Light Flashing Next To Power Button What Does This Mean

There is a little red light flashing next to power button what does this mean It is not listed in the manual but was does it mean when the red light next to power is flashing? .... When we notice the flashing red light we power off the unit for 20 min and then cout it back on and the light is no longer blinking.
