Once In Awhile, I Use The Proof Setting For My Oven To Raise Bread.

The owner's manual states that a fan circulates air in the oven. The setting turns on but no air is present? And, yes, I did press the start button. I am sure that when I used this setting before that air was circulating around the oven. Since I hardly ever use this setting, I don't know why it would not be working. The convection fan works fine using the bake settings.
