Gas Smell Out The Exhaust Vent

I just converted my new dryer to propane. tested everything, no leaks. put a load through it and smelled gas through the vent, no gas smell in the laundry room.

Did you put the right orifice on it?

Is the flame burning bluish?

Is not you have a problem burning the propane correctly,

I would make sure that the orifice fitting is the right one for propane.
