My Battery Overheats, Charging, On My Lg As680. Do I Need A Stronger Battery?

No. You don't actually need a stronger battery. You need to use a compatible battery and charger to avoid overheating and possible explosion of the battery. The compatible charger and battery can be purchased online from the links below.
