Ka Dishwasher Tripping Gfi

I have had this KA dishwasher for 3 yrs.  All of a sudden, it began tripping the GFI outlet.  It does not do it when i run the RINSE ONLY cycle, so i am guessing it must have something to do with the heating element...?  Can i fix this myself quickly and easily?
