The New Doors Replaced No Longer Make A Vacuum Seal Sound When Closing.

We had to replace both the freezer and refrigerator doors with new ones. (purchased 5/28/2012) The old doors when opened and closed made a vacuum seal type of sound but the new doors don't. What's wrong?

The "vavuum seal sound" is the ice dispenser door ativating. All you should hear when you close the refrigerator door is a slight beep not the full sound of the "ice macker door operating." You can check this by opening the refrigerator door and manually pressing the the button that shuts off the light when the door is closed, while the door is open.
