Replacing the auger motor below the ice bucket on a KitchenAid KSCS25FVSS refrigerator requires a bit of technical skill and expertise. Here are the general steps to follow:
  1. Unplug the refrigerator from the power outlet to ensure your safety.
  2. Remove the ice bucket from the freezer compartment.
  3. Remove the front cover of the ice dispenser by gently prying it off with a flathead screwdriver.
  4. Unscrew the four screws that hold the ice dispenser unit in place using a Phillips-head screwdriver.
  5. Carefully pull out the ice dispenser unit, taking care not to damage any of the wires connected to it.
  6. Locate the auger motor below the ice bucket.
  7. Disconnect the wires attached to the auger motor by gently pulling them out.
  8. Unscrew the screws that hold the auger motor in place, then remove the old motor.
  9. Install the new auger motor in its place and tighten the screws.
  10. Reconnect the wires to the new motor.
  11. Slide the ice dispenser unit back into place and secure it with the four screws you removed earlier.
  12. Replace the front cover of the ice dispenser.
  13. Put the ice bucket back into the freezer compartment.
  14. Finally, plug the refrigerator back into the power outlet and turn it on to test the new auger motor.

If you feel uncomfortable or unsure about performing these steps, it may be best to contact a professional technician to assist you.
