What To Do With Blinking Led Button.

I have a kmt423cs toaster and decided to try and empty both trays and rinse out the toaster slot areas only. After drying it off I went ahead and plugged it in. After a couple of hours, I went to use the toaster and took notice to the right side toaster button led blinking. After pressing the button a couple of times it didn't reset. Also, noticed that the part that holds the bread at the bottom is set all the way down into a toasting mode. Once unplugging the toaster I went ahead and re plugged the toaster in to see if this would reset the right side slot and found that it didn't make any difference. Is there anything I can do at this point to perhaps reset the device?
