What can I use if I don't have a whisk attachment?
If you don't have a paddle attachment, a wire whip should be your first choice. The wire whip can be used for whisking eggs and meringue. In addition, it can be used for mixing the cake batter. Some people also use it for making cookie dough, and it works fine.
What is the whisk attachment used for?
The whisk attachment does the same work that a hand whisk would. Use it to incorporate air into whipped cream and beat egg whites to their highest peaks. The whisk attachment can also be used to cream butter and sugar so it's light and fluffy.
