The Little Plastic Female Drive Coupling On The Motor End Has Stripped Out. What

what parts can we buy and how much would they cost please? shoule we just buy a new unit or is this repairable please?

I was smitten by the same failure. If you examine the coupling closely you'll notice the tabs on the mixer engage 25% or less into the drive coupling.That's the portion that's stripped and why the blade no longer rotates. Shame on KitchenAid! Because 75% of the coupling remains undamaged, and KitchenAid has no fix for the fault, I purchased some J-B weld at the hardware store, mixed in the hardener, packed the coupling with the mixture, installed the mixer to the motor, and let it cure overnight. I can no longer remove the blender stick to clean in the dishwasher, but my consumption of smoothies remains unabated.
