Blade Not Spinning

The motor base appears to be running and blade attachment is functioning properly, but when attached to the motor base it won't spin

This is a design defect in the unit. The steel 'fins' on the shaft of the whisk and immersion blender do not engage fully with the plastic 6 fluted receiver. This causes the plastic part to wear out prematurely. This wear may also be exacerbated by whisking/blending hot fluids which cause the plastic to softern.

As it doesn't appear the plastic part is user replaceable, I would return the unit for replacement. As this is a design defect, I would be worried about the replacement failing the same way in short order.

Bottom Line:

If you don't get satisfaction, post your complaints on Amazon (or other e-sellers) to provide buyer-beware to other unsuspecting consumers.
