Usedishcloth To Wipe A Spill-tag Melted On Cermatop-used Cerma Bryte-left Scratc

We just had purchase a sorely needed oven and frig. with a KitchenAid kess907sss04 oven and frig.  We read all the manuals, bought Cerama Bryte to clean (used paper towels a recommended).   We had company over last night, water spilled on the oven top, used a dishcloth to wipe up and the tag melted to the top.  Used Cerama Bryte w/ paper towels to remove, the tag seemed to have come off but now you can see the silver scratch and it appears faded.   Please help.

I would use a scratch remover that won't damage this surface. Just find out what type of material and use the recommended polishing product for this purpose.
