Add A Dish? Energy Saving Dry Cycle?
Can you open the door and add a dish when the cylcle is running? Does the 404 have an energy saving dry cycle?

The KitchenAid KDTM404KPS dishwasher does not allow you to open the door and add a dish when the cycle is running. This is because the dishwasher uses a water-recycling system, and opening the door would allow the water to evaporate. If you need to add a dish, you will need to pause the cycle and then add the dish.
The KDTM404KPS does have an energy saving dry cycle. This cycle uses less energy than the normal dry cycle, but it will also take longer for the dishes to dry.
