To scroll to a specific station on your Kenwood KDC-MP142 without using scan, you can follow these steps:
Press the "Band" button to select the band you want to listen to (AM or FM).
Press the "Seek Up" or "Seek Down" buttons to scroll through the stations in that band.
When you reach the station you want to listen to, press the "Tune" button to select it.
Here are some additional things to keep in mind:
The "Seek Up" and "Seek Down" buttons will only scroll through stations that are within the tuning range of the radio. If you press these buttons and the radio does not change stations, it means that there are no more stations in that band within the tuning range.
You can also use the "Direct Access" buttons to scroll to a specific station. The direct access buttons are labeled with the numbers 1 to 6. To use a direct access button, press the button that corresponds to the station you want to listen to.
If you want to scroll through the stations quickly, you can press and hold the "Seek Up" or "Seek Down" buttons.
