Why has my reversing camera stopped working?
If it's a Wi-Fi camera, and it was working previously, it likely means that the camera needs a reset. You could also check the wiring and the power cables as a wire may have frayed or a cord may have become disconnected. These are just a few of the potential issues that your rear vision camera system may face.
Why is my reverse camera black?
If your backup camera display is flashing or giving you black and white static, it's likely the case that you have a fraying wire or a faulty connection. Make sure all of the cables and connections in your backup camera system are fully connected and repair any damage.
Can I turn my backup camera on without being in reverse?
You can't use your backup camera while in drive if it's only powered while you're in reverse. Second, you'll need a system to that is also powered independently of the reverse light. Again occasionally common in the DIY space even in the front cabin, and this monitor most likely needs to be aftermarket.
