Lower Oven Door Only Has Rubber Gasket Not Woven Like The Top Oven Door.

Does the lower oven door on an elecitric kenmore built in oven..need a woven gasket around the door? The top oven has a woven gasket, the bottom has a flimsy rubber one. Not attached very well. Thank you
