Fridge Has Started To Warm Up. Freezer No Longer Freezes Ice. Lights Are Still O

I thought I heard a pop rumble type of sound last night coming from the fridge - upon investigating I smelled a faint electrical burning smell. The lights were still on in the fridge so I thought it may be something else. Today the ice has melted and the fridge is warming up. What could it be?
