There are a few ways you can make outbound calls using a headset connected to a cell phone. The first is simply to dial using the phone's keypad or contact list information. Most phones have voice-activated menu capability which allows you to speak, either a number to call or the name from your contact list. To access this feature on your phone (make sure it's enabled first) simply press the answer/end button on the headset for a full second (you should hear a long tone). Once activated, you usually say something like, "Call..." and then the name of the person you're calling or a phone number.
