How To Fix My Gn9330e Headset (with Lifter) That Constantly Rings When Hung Up?
I have a GN9330E wireless headset, used with the GN1000 lifter, and Panasonic KX-T7731 phone system, and it has been working fine for over 3 years.
Lately, when the headset is not in use but I am wearing it, it makes a ringing noise in the earpiece. The ringing noise is similar to when a call is received, except that it constantly rings and doesnt stop. Sometimes it does it for only a short while, and sometimes it wont stop at all.
I have unplugged the headset completely from the phone, and tried to re-pair the headset with the base. I've tried every option in the manual to completely reset the unit.
Base indicators: There are 4 yellow indicator lights on the base which are all solid. There is a blue (telephone) light that is blinking about every 2 seconds.
Headset indicators: When I take the headset off the base, there is a blue flashing light.
I've searched all possible ways to resolve this and have run out of solutions. Please help!

On the top side of the lifter there's a knob that sticks out - that's the sensitivity adjustement for the ringer. The best way to reset it is to turn it so it's all the way down, have someone else ring your phone, and turn the knob until you just start to hear the ringing in the headset.
