How Do I Start The Voice Activate Voicedialing

OK I figured this out for myself. If you hold the multifunction button for 1-2 seconds (hard to time) you get to the voice dialing interface. BTW - not sure if it is my imagination but voice dialing seems to be MUCH better
The confirmation voice is much clearer when pronouncing names back
