Insignia Ns-pcs41 Speakers Not Working

I have Insignia speakers and all of a sudden they stopped working they turn on ok and I hear a hum when I unplug them from the PC. But no sound on videos. I'm thinking that maybe the drivers got hosed up.

it is likely a hardware issue. Like any other hardware component in a computer, the device producing sound can fail. Make sure the computer sound card works properly by connecting another pair of speakers or headphones to the computer.

Try connecting speakers to your phone or anyother computer.
