How Do I Restore Resistance Control?

I replaced the batteries in my Image 34C recumbent bike. The resistance goes to max as I pedal, regardless of the resistance setting or the program. The display shows different resistances as I push the Up Arrow or Down Arrow, but the actual resistance does not adjust. Is the problem likely to be either the Reed Switch or the Control Board? If yes to either one, where can I get replacement parts?
