What Is The Warranty For Catalytic Converters For A 2005 Santa Fe.

I purchased a 2005 Santa fe on 8/25/2015. Check engine light appeared within 20 miles of purchase. Code for catalytic converter imbalance came up on scanner. An exhaust repair shop said he thought Hyundai extended its warranty on converters to 120000 miles. Mine just turned 113000 miles. Is this correct?

I can't find any evidence that Hyundai has extended the Cat warranty, to be certain call your local dealer. I suggest you check your spark plugs & O2 sensor before replacing the CatCon.

I hope this is helpful to you!
