Husqvarna Rz46i Not Moving Forward At Marketed Speed

I was hoping tbe speed would be close to 6mph. However i am only getting 4mph and 5 mph down hills. I looked at the linkage and the handles are pushing the control to the stopping point set on the transaxle. Does not appear to bd adjustable. Anyone else have this issue? Remedies? I really want to keep the mower... i would like some more peformance in larger areas. My lawn tractor with 12.5hp motor is faster!
