Lgt 2654 Turns Over, Fuel Pump Works, Runs If Gas Sprayed In Carb

Bought a used LGT 2645, it ran great until I lifted the front of the tractor high in the air to change the blades, now it won't start, pumping gas good and it will run if gas is sprayed directly into carb. Is there a safety switch that shuts the fuel down if the tractor detects to much of an angl
