Why Does The Brush Bar Continue To Spin In The Upright Position
Hoover model uh70850The brush bar never stops spinning even when the bar floor setting is on.

Hi. If the vacuum will not respond as per the manual here http://www.helpowl.com/manuals/Hoover/UH70100/102345 - then it must be that you have a bad switch or sensor.
