Hi, typically when the brushes don't spin, there is dirt and debris preventing them from turning. Clean all the dirt, hair, and other particles out of the brushes and belt and hopefully that will solve your problem. If it doesn't, take a look at the belt and pulley and see if either is damaged or worn. If the motor turns, the brushes are free of obstructions, but they still won't spin, you'll likely need a new belt.
