Need Driver For New Install Of Hitachi Hts721010g9at00 Hard Drive On Dell M170
Replacemant hard drive is not recohnized. Is there a driver available, and can I use a USB drive to load on DellSXP M170 laptop where I will reinstall Dell original Win XP Pro?

No driver should be needed. The drive should be compatible but you might need to update the system BIOS.
Yes you can use a USB CD drive to reinstall. You may need to change the BIOS boot order to boot from CD. There should be a menu accessible by pressing F12 at boot to select the boot device.
