No Picture On A Hitachi 51f510

we have sound and can see the menu list but no picture

the fact that you can see the menu and on-screen-display makes it sound like maybe the input source has a bad cable (if you are using a Aux input. Try all input jacks and new cables or move one of the audio cables for the video to test it.
