Hitachi Tv Repair
Hitachi 50v715 Tv. Purchased In 2004. Never Have Had Lamp Replaced. When Turn On Power, Temp And Lamp Lights Flash. Power And Temp Go Off And Lamp Stays On Without Blinking. Am I Correct A Lamp Replacement Should Fix It ?

When you power up the set, listen for these three things, carefully with your ear next to the lower rear of the TV.
Turn on the set, you should hear...
1)The cooling fans turn on.
2)The color wheel start to spin.
3)The click and slight buzz of the ballast trying to fire up the lamp.
The problem is that the lamp has failed and needs to be replaced. You can locate and purchase the lamp for your set at the link below:
