I Bought A Hp Probook 4440s And I Need To Reset My Password
I bought a hp probook 4440s and I dont remember the exact characters that I used when I set my password so now I need help to reset my password

If you're using Windows 8, instructions on how to reset the password can be found here.
If you're using Windows 7, it's a lot more complicated. I recommend bringing your computer in to a local computer repair shop to have them remove the password for you.

You should not have to pay for professional service. Go to this HP forum page and see the answer by rob fluth, who provides two solutions. The second solution is easier, but you'll have to buy the utility. At $17.95 however it's still much cheaper than professional service.
