My Hp D110 Won't Scan

I had the same problem and reinstalling/updating the software did nothing to help. finally one of the error messages had a link to this page http://hp88477c.local./#hId-webscanPage I went there and pressed scan on the "website" which prompted my printer to do just that. I'n not sure exactly whats happening but i assume that address is pointing to my wifi network. Anyway i just bookmarked the page and now i do all my scanning from there. problem solved
