Computer Won't Work Even Tho Monitor Is On.

Power switch on, monitor on. Message-"entering power saving mode." Tried hitting Enter several times but no response.

You may wish to try a second monitor, and of course the usual. Check your video cable at both ends, computer and monitor. Also, look at the monitors menu to make sure that the correct input is chosen to be displayed.
