How Can I Clear Up Print Quality?

We are getting black diagonal lines on the page when we print. There are usually about 3-4 on an A4 piece of paper. I have tried printing a few items to see if it clears up but it doesn't appear to make a difference. I looked online and it said it might be a loose toner, or that we need to change the cartridge? What do you recommend?I printed a supplies status page and it said our black cartridge is 82%. Does that mean it is 82% full? Thanks Sarah

Hi Sarah

Please click on the link mentioned below and refer to page number 182 that might help you. Try cleaning the inside of the product and run a cleaning page to clean the fuser that might help you. You can prevent most print-quality problems by following these guidelines.

Configure the trays for the correct paper-type setting. See Configure trays on page 85.
Use paper that meets HP specifications. See Paper and print media on page 69.
Clean the product as necessary. See Clean the paper path on page 133.
