3' Gray Stripe Down The Middle Of The Scanned Page.
Ho9w do i get a clean scanned page without big gray stripe in the middle

My initial reaction is to check the scanning mirror and check when it scans if the lamp has a dark area at or around the point in the page where the grey area is. If it is just dust build up then dismantling and cleaning would solve the problem but if the lamp is black I would suspect the lamp will need replacing. This would entail the help of a competent engineer to replace.
