Paper Will Not Go Through Printer

The fact that the paper stops indicates to me that there is a jam. Have you recently had to pull out a jammed sheet of paper, and did it tear? If so, there might be a bit of it still stuck where you can't see it. It doesn't take a very big piece to prevent any more paper from going through.
There might be a way to dismantle the platen (the roller) and look inside. Check Epson's website for details. If there isn't you might want to see if there are any professional technicians who do that.
On the other hand, given the cheapness (both meanings) of printers these days, it may be more cost-effective to buy a new one.
