Incompatible Cartridge Hp 4500
HP 4500 says cartridge is incompatible, how do I reset it?

Honestly, the best thing to do is replace the cartridge. Cartridges very rarely come back from the "incompatible cartridge" error. The only thing I would recommend is cleaning the contacts on the cartridge. What I am refering to is on the copper strip, you want to look at the back part with all the little dots. Clean these dots with a pencil eraser for the most success.
I work in the remanufactured cartridge industry and see this error very frequently. You can try removing the cartridge and putting it back in and power cycling the printer and such -- but it hardly ever works. The pencil eraser does work sometimes though! :)
