How To Improve Wireless Sensitivity?

HP nc6400, XP Pro, This machine has extremely weak wirless signal strength, it will not find a wireless connection from more than 12-15 feet. I use other laptops on the same router, with triple the distance, and no issues, so I know the router is fine. Driver is updated, and machine is well maintained. Seeking a remedy for normal signal strength.

Based on your description, this might be related to the wireless adapter hardware of your HP Nc6400. Unfortunately, it is not possible to replace the wireless adapter on your laptop because this is integrated/buil-in to the motherboard. It is better to bring this device to the service center for proper diagnosis and repair.
