that message means is that the printer is slowing down because of excessive use. The printer fuser needs to cool down for approx 90 seconds. That said I guess it is possible the fuser may have an issue and then again if using the printer for big jobs then this can happen. One thing you can do is a cold reset to make sure no one has made any changes which are effecting the printer operation. First thing is print a config page and menu map so you have all the current settings. Now turn off the printer and if you have a EIO network card remove it with the power off. Now turn the printer back on and when the memory starts to count press the check mark button and hold it down until all lights come on solid and release. Now use the down arrown button to scroll down to cold reset and hit the check mark button and the printer will eventually come to ready. Turn it off again, put back the network card and turn back on and see if there is any difference.

EASY FIX. No drivers etc. I fixed this on the actual printer menu "Paper Handling" and "Tray 2 Paper Type" - changed the Tray 2 Paper Type to ANY TYPE (now matches the Tray 1 type). I had noticed that printing from Tray 1 was regular speed, but Tray 2 was much slower. I printed a configuration page and noticed that Tray 1 Type was "ANY TYPE" but Tray 2 was "MID-WEIGHT". I changed the Tray 2 type to "ANY TYPE". This fixed the problem completely. The problem was likely caused by me pressing buttons on the printer menu from my chair without looking at it because I set up the printer to always use Tray 1 and have to press OK 2x to make it use Tray 2.
