Elitebook 8560w Wireless Button Not Working.
The orange light remains on. Wirless will not enable. I updated the driver to see if that would help but it did not.
Press 1- get following message - Wlan: oFf, bluetooth: off
Press 2: get following message - wlan: disabled, Bluetooth: Disabled.
Button cycles between these 2 scenarios.

If it will not turn on from the working stage of the laptop, it may somehow not be enabled in the Bios.
But look under all programs for network/wireless , or, type wireless into the search box at the base of the start menu- see if it is disabled there.Look at page 8 of your manual

When you start up press f10 and follow the naual to check that it is enabled there. Usually you click on the item, then either press the space bar to enter that facility to enable, or, disable then click space bar, or, enter to save it, then click exit, then click save changes (Y) .
